The world’s smallest primate, the Philippines Tarsier, could be seen in the island of Bohol. These tiny nocturnal creatures are just the size of a human’s fist and possess big eyes with sockets that can’t be turned because they are attached to their skull. The destruction of their forest habitats made them part of the list of endangered animals. To let the tarsier be known to the world of art and fashion, we showcase here Philippines Tarsier nail art.

Gather these materials to help you paint your own Philippine Tarsier nail design.

•    Regular White nail polish for basecoat
•    Cappuccino nail polish
•    Regular Black nail polish
•    Glaze Jade nail polish
•    Forest Green nail polish
•    Clear nail polish for topcoat
•    Toothpick

Steps in Creating Philippine Tarsier Nail Art Design
To create your own Philippine Tarsier (tiny monkey) nail art design, follow these steps:

1. Apply Regular White nail polish on your nails just once for a basecoat. Let it dry for a few seconds.Complete the following painting procedure on every nail, one by one:
2. Apply second base coat to the nails.
3. Scrape the polish while wet, forming a big circle on the lower portion of the nail with the use of a toothpick; this could be the body of our Tarsier. Another smaller circle on the upper portion of the nail will be the head.
4. Once you’re done, fill the scraped areas using Cappuccino nail polish ensuring a non-messy filling. You can also use any shade of brown for this portion. We used Cappuccino nail polish to give a lighter color on our Tarsier design.
5. Paint a medium line forming a branch on the right side of the tarsier using shade of green.
6. Paint an eye with the black nail polish. Then put a white dot on the center of each eye this will create a large eye effect on our tarsier painting.
7. Brush with a very thin green polish on the empty space of your design, this will give a safari look on your nail art.

The Tarsier is a cute and tiny animal that fits nicely on fingernails or toenails. Consider doing animal nail art for a fun and different style of manicure or pedicure. While the tarsier may not be a widely known animal in all parts of the world, it is a cute option for your nail art. You can also use this same technique to create cats, squirrels, dogs, and other animal nail art. Simply adapt the nail art for the particular head shape and tail shape that you need for each creature. Let your creativity loose and create your own wild and domestic animal nail art!
